Test Sequence Template

Test Sequence Templates are used to configure reusable sequences of Test Templates. They can be initialized and started to run their associated Test Templates in the configured order.

Workflows

*️⃣ Creating a Test Sequence Template

1. Navigate to the Configuration > Test Sequences view on the left sidebar
2. Click the + Button in the top-right corner
3. The Create Test Sequence Template dialog should now be open
   
   
4. Fill out the required input fields:
   • Name: Text (required)
   • Laser Types: Selection (default=all)
   • Test Template Spectrum: Selection (required)
   • Test Template Ramp: Selection (required)
   • Test Template Burn In: Selection (required)
   • Run Spectrum Test also on Start: Boolean (default=no)
5. Click on the Create button in the bottom-right corner of the dialog
6. The Test Sequence Template was successfully created

▶️ Starting a Test Sequence Template

Caution

This way of starting a Test Sequence Template is only a temporary implementation for testing purposes and will be replaced in a future version of TestRack UI.

1. Navigate to the Configuration > Test Sequences view on the left sidebar
2. Select the Test Sequence Template to start from the left table view
3. Click the ▶ Button in the top-right corner of the right detail view
4. The Create Test Sequence dialog should now be open
   
   
5. Fill out the required input fields:
   • Device ID: Integer (required)
   • Laser: Selection (required)
6. Click on the Create button in the bottom-right corner of the dialog
7. The Test Sequence Template was successfully started

❌ Deleting a Test Sequence Template

Caution

It is only possible to delete a Test Sequence Template that was not yet started. An already started Test Sequence Template will be indicated through a lock icon in the left table, and right detail view.

1. Navigate to the Configuration > Test Sequences view on the left sidebar
2. Select the Test Sequence Template to delete from the left table view
3. Click the Delete button in the bottom right corner
4. The Delete Test Template dialog should now be open
   
   
5. In the dialog, confirm your action by clicking the Delete button in the bottom-right corner of the dialog
6. The Test Sequence Template was successfully deleted
